Stanley Clarke began working with famous bandleaders and musicians as Joe Henderson, Chick Corea, Pharoah Sanders, Art Blakey, Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz, Gil Evans, Gato Barbieri and Horace Silver after he moved to New York City in 1971.
Before that, Stanley Clarke graduated from the University of the Arts (Philadelphia), after it absorbed the Philadelphia Musical Academy in 1985. Even before, as a child, Stanley Clarke was introduced to the bass when he arrived late on the day instruments were distributed to students and acoustic bass remained the last instrument.

Stanley Clarke, known best for his work with the fusion band Return to Forever, is an American jazz musician and composer known for his numerous television and film scores along with his influential and innovative work on bass guitar and double bass .
After he moved to New York City in 1971 Stanley Clarke started to work with famous musicians and bands’ leaders Such as Gil Evans, Pharoah Sanders, Gato Barbieri , Dexter Gordon, Horace Silver, Art Blakey, Stan Getz, Chick Corea and Joe Henderson.
Before that, Clarke graduated from the Philadelphia Musical Academy in 1985, called University of the Arts in Philadelphia, after the university that absorbed it and Even before, as a school child, Stanley Clarke was introduced to the bass when he arrived on the day playing instruments were distributed to the students and acoustic bass remained as one of the last instruments to be given.

The Swedish power metal / heavy metal band Hammerfall was formed in 1993 by Oscar Dronjak, ex-Ceremonial Oath’s guitarist. Dronjak invited Jesper Strömblad to join him as a drummer.
Vocalist Mikael Stanne, guitarist Niklas Sundin and bassist Johann Larsson joined them later. A year later Fredrik Larsson and Glenn Ljungström came in after Johann Larsson and Niklas Sundin left.
In the beginning The band played mostly covers from bands such as Alice Cooper , Judas Priest and Pretty Maids. During that period HammerFall’s concerts were limited to Rockslaget, a local music contest.
Joacim Cans had been made an official member of the band after a successful concert they played together in 1996.
HammerFall’s album Legacy of Kings
Legacy of Kings’ recording began In February 1998. Joacim, Oscar, and Jesper wrote this album though not being an organic part of HammerFall anymore. Joacim, Oscar and Fredrik Nordström produced it. It took the band total of one and a half months in the studio recording this album. Before the release of Legacy of Kings Hammerfall made some expressive concerts together with bands such as Stratovarius, Deep Purple, Dream Theater, Saxon, Alice Cooper and Rammstein.
